The third-place finisher on ‘DWTS’ season 11 sets the record straight on the rumors that she detested homosexual people..
Bristol Palin will make her return to Dancing with the Stars this fall, as the reality TV star has been included on that show’s first-ever All-Star cast. What drew her back to the ballroom? Not attention or money or any request made by ABC, Palin told reporters today at the Television Critics Association press tour. It was all The Big Guy Upstairs.“God provides opportunities like this for me,” Bristol said. “It’s a positive, active show. It’s going to be awesome.”But what if – that same God, please forbid! – Palin gets aligned with a gay partner. Considering her view on marriage, won’t that be a problem?“I like gays,” Bristol said. “I’m not a homophobic. Just because I’m for traditional marriage… I don’t hate anybody. People will make up things about me. I’m going to go dance and have fun. It’s not about politics, it’s not about traditional marriage. It’s about dancing. That’s all I have to say about it.”Hey, like a grown, professional woman once said: haters are going to hate. What do you think of Bristol Palin returning to Dancing with the Stars?.
Picture courtesy of the Chicago TribuneCourtesy of Brancy’s blog: Many of you saw Episode 12 of Lifeand#226;and#128;and#153;s a Tripp when Gino and I had our big blowout. (Here is the entire episode for those who missed it.)Well, it was very painful for everyone involved. (Especially Tripp!) After that fight, Tripp and Willow both dozed off, so it gave me and#226;and#128;” finally and#226;and#128;” some quiet time to think. I prayed about my life. I asked for some sort of direction as to what to do, which direction to goand#226;and#128;and#166; (You called your mom.)After all, itand#226;and#128;and#153;s complicated. Should I focus on work? A relationship? Even after that terrible fight, I wasnand#226;and#128;and#153;t sure about where Gino and I stood. (Well HE stood on the side of the road.)In other words, I prayed and asked for guidance. (Called mom again.)After Lifetime wrapped up filming for the day, they took the microphones off Willow and me. It wasnand#226;and#128;and#153;t ten minutes later that my cell phone rang. (Mom came through!)It was the casting director of Dancing with the Stars. (See?)I was ecstatic. It was like God placed this opportunity right at my feet. I called my mom right after our conversation and told her the offer I had gotten.(Yeah, let’s act like she didn’t know.) I was totally brought to tears just thinking about the last few years of my life, and how abundantly blessed I am to have such amazing opportunities. Iand#226;and#128;and#153;m thankful for my book, for this blog, for my Lifetime show, and now this. And, Iand#226;and#128;and#153;m thankful for you guys. (Suckers!)What Iand#226;and#128;and#153;m learning: Godand#226;and#128;and#153;s plan is much greater than our own.Yes, “God’s” plan was to allow you to trick Levi into impregnating you, for your mother to fake a pregnancy to cover for you, for her to then lose her bid for the Vice Presidency, and then for the entire Palin family to show up on television until Americans become so sick of them that the very sight of a Palin will cause them to vomit uncontrollably. You know if Bristol could convince most Christians that were true she could almost single-handedly destroy religion in America. So hey, good luck with that..
